What is the Singapore Postal Code Finder?

This is a free tool for finding Singapore postal codes. Search a street to get the 6-digit postal codes on it, or enter a postal code to see which street it belongs to and pin it on a map. It includes over 120,000 postal codes covering all of Singapore, from the city centre to Jurong, Changi and Woodlands.

It helps with online shopping and delivery, bank and government forms, rental and job applications, and any website that asks for a Singapore address.

How to find a Singapore postal code

  1. Street to postal code: choose “Street → Postal Code”, type a street such as Bayfront Avenue or Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, and optionally narrow it with the postal district menu.
  2. Postal code to street: choose “Postal Code → Street” and type a full code like 238801, or the first digits like 23 to list every match.
  3. Open “View on map” to see the exact spot of a postal code, which helps you pick the right building on a long street.

The finder does not know house or block numbers, so a long street shows many postal codes. To get the postal code for a specific block or unit number, use the SingPost postal code finder.

How Singapore postal codes work

A Singapore postal code has six digits with no hyphen or letters, for example 238801. Unlike many countries, a code points to a single building or block, or to a small group of buildings, so each street has many codes.

Reading the digits

The first two digits are the postal sector, which shows the general area. They map to the 28 postal districts (D01 to D28): for example sectors 01 to 06 are Raffles Place and Marina (D01), 22 and 23 are Orchard and River Valley (D09), 51 and 52 are Tampines and Pasir Ris (D18), and 60 to 64 are Jurong (D22). The last four digits identify the street, block or building.

Writing a Singapore address

The usual order is block or house number and street, then the unit number and building name if any, then “Singapore” and the postal code, for example: 2 Orchard Turn, Singapore 238801.

How many digits is a Singapore postal code?

Six digits with no hyphen or letters, for example 238801. Each code points to a single building or block, or a small group of buildings.

How do I find the postal code of my address?

Search your street name in the finder, then use the map button on each result to find the building. For an exact block or unit number, use the SingPost postal code finder.

Why does a street show so many postal codes?

Singapore postal codes are assigned to individual buildings and blocks, so a long street can have hundreds. This finder knows the street and map spot of each code, but not the block or house number.

Does it include every Singapore postal code?
